A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Employment Relations Advisor to join our People and Culture team.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This role provides support to the P&C Advisors and P&C Managers, resolving ER and HR matters and escalating more complex issues to the P&C Business Partners or P&C Managers where appropriate.
- Provide support to Managers and P&C Managers on all HR activities, specifically employment relations
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead low to medium level disciplinary and formal processes end to end
- Support the development of the P&C Advisors
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous improvement where possible
Mōu | About You
- To be successful in this position you will possess the following:
- Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practices
- 3+ years experience in providing front line HR/ER support in a large, unionised organisation
- Experience in running disciplinary processes and handling complex ER issues
- Ability to coach and mentor P&C Advisors
- A proactive, solution focused approach to challenges
