From clarifying requirements to reviewing your CV and prepping for your interview, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

What is Charter Assist?

Charter Assist is a personalised support service designed to guide eligible HR professionals through the Chartered Member application. You’ll receive up to 4 hours of expert assistance from an experienced HRNZ coach to help you:

Support to complete the HRNZ self-assessment for accreditation

Develop an executive summary of your experience to support your application

Effectively select and brief your referees

If you are not ready to become Chartered, your HRNZ coach will offer support for up to 12 months, including setting high level development goals, to help you become Chartership-ready.

Whether you're feeling unsure, time-poor, or just want an experienced sounding board, Charter Assist can help you put your best foot forward.

Maintaining rigorous standards

Charter Assist is not a shortcut to Chartered Membership

All applicants must still meet the same rigorous standards, including: 

  • Completing the self-assessment
  • Passing the Chartered Member assessment interview
  • Completing the Te Ao Māori and Code of Practice modules
  • Meeting the required CPD points 

Charter Assist simply helps you prepare as best you can for the chartering process.
