Think Tank: Exploring HR's capacity to navigate the paradox of belonging in an increasingly complex world of work.

How can organisations create cultures where people feel they belong, even when they hold different perspectives or disagree on important issues?

Today's workforce is more diverse, interconnected and socially complex than ever before. People bring multiple identities, cultures, generations, worldviews, expectations, values and lived experiences into the same organisational systems.

At the same time, HR is being asked to respond to an expanding range of human and organisational challenges:
•  belonging and inclusion
•  intercultural difference and conflict
•  neurodiversity
•  flexible and hybrid work
•  changing expectations of leadership
•  AI and technological disruption
•  growing social and geopolitical tensions

The challenge is that many of the systems, policies, structures and practices HR has inherited were designed for a workforce that was less socially complex.

This raises a critical question:
Is HR equipped to work with the complexity of today's workforce — or are we still trying to manage human complexity through systems designed for a simpler world?

This Think Tank brings together different perspectives and experiences to examine what happens when organisational systems encounter increasing social complexity.

Rather than asking "How do we manage diversity?", this session asks a more fundamental question:
How do we build organisations capable of thinking, relating and making decisions across difference and lived experiences?

Together we'll explore questions such as:
•  Can organisations genuinely be inclusive if people fundamentally disagree?
•  Should HR be responsible for culture — or should HR be responsible for building the organisation's capacity to create and evolve culture?

Join us for an engaging discussion exploring how HR can help organisations navigate complexity while creating genuine inclusion and belonging.
