Course Overview

The role of HR is changing.   Technology, AI, evolving workforce expectations and increasing pressure on productivity are reshaping how organisations operate and the decisions leaders need to make.

The HR Leadership Shift is a premium, three-day development programme designed for experienced HR practitioners ready to extend their strategic contribution.

Developed by HRNZ in partnership with Unboxable and aligned with The Path, HRNZ's capability framework, the programme builds the business understanding, critical thinking and influence needed to navigate complexity, advise senior leaders and drive meaningful organisational outcomes.

Through real world business scenarios, practical exercises and conversations with experienced HR leaders, you'll strengthen your ability to move beyond operational HR challenges and contribute to the decisions that shape your organisation's future.

You’ll walk away with

A stronger understanding of business priorities and their workforce implications.

Greater confidence in diagnosing complex problems and applying critical thinking and evidence.

The ability to use data and AI to inform strategic HR advice.

Stronger commercial awareness and strategic judgement.

Greater confidence influencing senior leaders and communicating recommendations.

Practical approaches to translating HR expertise into business impact
