HRNZ, with the very generous support from our event sponsor Buddle Findlay, warmly invite you to a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to raise awareness about breast cancer. This event is part of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ’s annual campaign to generate essential funds for breast cancer research, patient support, education and awareness.
Join us in your best pink attire for a morning of networking over breakfast and the company of Ah-Leen Rayner, CEO of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and guest speaker Katie Sharples, who will share their knowledge and stories.
We will be donating the full $30.00 from each ticket sold to the Breast Cancer Foundation. When Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32, her family was still recovering from her baby’s recent cancer journey. Facing it again tested them in ways they never expected. Now, years on, she will share her story of survivorship, strength, and the community that carried them through.
Ah-Leen Rayner, Chief Executive of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ
Ah-Leen leads the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ operations and revenue generating initiatives. Through fundraising and mobilising wide supporter networks, the foundation enables the ongoing funding of medical research, support and development; services and programmes for public education and awareness; and advocacy and community outreach programme delivery for women with breast cancer.
