Managing an injured employee? Get clear on HR, Health and Safety and ACC roles responsibilities When an employee is injured, whether at work or elsewhere, the intersection between HR, H&S and ACC becomes very real - and can create uncertainty about responsibilities. Who leads what? Where do responsibilities sit? And how do organisations best support recovery of their injured employees while keeping operations moving?

Join the HRNZ Health & Safety Network and ACC for a practical Lunch & Learn that explores how these roles work together to support effective injury management, recovery at work and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

In this session we will cover:
• ACC’s injury statistics, insights, and emerging trends in high-risk industries
• Practical recovery at work processes and common challenges
• ACC’s Stay at Work programme and how it can support workplaces
• The roles of HR, H&S and ACC — and where responsibilities sit in practice

This session is designed to provide practical clarity for HR and H&S professionals navigating injury management, recovery at work, and return-to-work of injured employees in real workplace situations.
