Employment law – the significant shifts in 2025 and beyond
Employment law legislation is rapidly evolving in 2025, with significant changes for employers – join Lane Neave’s employment law experts for this webinar as they spotlight what’s happened and what’s still to come.
A number of Bills have been introduced to Parliament – relating to everything from personal grievances and partial strikes to pay transparency and how we assess workers versus contractors. New laws have also been brought in and there’s plenty more on the horizon.
Join Employment Law experts Andrew Shaw, Fiona McMillan and Andy Bell for this one-hour lunch-time session which will cover:
*Holidays Act reform.
*Removal of certain remedy entitlements when employees are at fault.
*Changes to pay secrecy laws.
*Obligations to retain employment agreements.
*Allowing for without prejudice negotiations.
*Health and safety changes for small, low-risk businesses.
*Wage theft legislation.
*Pay deductions for partial strikes.
*Personal grievance claim threshold.
*Minimum wage versus living wage.
*Parental leave changes.
*Equal pay changes.
