This event is designed to provide HR practitioners with an authentic experience of pōwhiri, build cultural capability, understand marae tikanga, explore kaupapa Māori within HR practice, and foster meaningful connections with local tangata whenua.
We will gather at the waharoa (gateway to the marae) at 9.15pm for the welcome briefing, followed by formal pōwhiri (click here for Pōwhiri guidelines).
Throughout the day you will take part in workshops and interactive activities, with morning tea and lunch provided by our hosts at the marae
Please note, due to the nature of this event, registrations will close one week prior (Monday 16 June), and the numbers are strictly limited.
