We are further developing our Mentoring programme and are looking for new Mentors. Would you like to assist other HRNZ Members with your skills and experience - then please consider becoming a Mentor.
Becoming a Mentor will help develop your career and bolster your reputation. Becoming a mentor offers you the following benefits:
- Enhance your reputation with management and the SLT
- Gain recognition for your skills and experience
- Increases your professional networks
- Learn new perspectives and ways of working
- Improve communication and personal skills
- Develop leadership and management qualities
- Benefit from a sense of fulfillment and personal growth
All HRNZ Members are eligible to become a Mentor. It's easy - just follow these easy steps;
- Log into your Account
- Click on the Mentoring button in the Mentoring Section
- Click on “Apply to be a mentor” button and complete the form
- The most important area in the Mentor application form is choosing from the list of competencies - what areas you would like to mentor in.
- When we receive a Mentee Application, the system will identify suggested matches based on your selected competency list.
We then provide the Mentee with Mentor options for them to choose from based on the suggested match and they then select and establish a relationship with you.
