The Role

  • Support administration of internal policies
  • Provide professional workforce support to managers and staff
  • Pre-screening candidates

About You
You may come from a recruitment or onboarding background, or you may have broader administration experience and a strong interest in HR. You’ll be able to take information about what our unique services need and use it to help create job ads, screen applicants, and support the selection of the right people. You will be organised and process-driven, but what matters most is that you bring a positive, friendly approach to your work—and a good sense of humour to the team.

You bring

  • Intelligence, initiative, and a willingness to learn
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humour
  • A caring, people-centred approach
  • Good judgment about when to chat and when to focus

  • Detail-focused, accurate, and committed to maintaining high-quality records
  • Professional, approachable, and discreet with sensitive information
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands
  • Keen to develop your HR and workforce capability and know that is a journey
  • You will thrive in this role if you are looking for an opportunity to gain broad HR exposure in a medium-sized NGO where you will make meaningful contributions in many different ways

Skills and Experience

  • Strong administration or coordination experience
  • Experience in recruitment, HR, or workforce support (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • A positive, solutions-focused approach
