We're looking for an experienced People Experience Partner to join our team for a 2-year fixed term period. As a trusted advisor and coach, you'll partner with people leaders to deliver proactive and seamless people solutions that create a great employee experience. You'll be part of a supportive team who thrive on connection, collaboration and growth, delivering people initiatives that bring our People Plan to life.

The opportunity

  • Build trusted partnerships with people leaders, developing a deep understanding of their goals, challenges, and people insights.
  • Coach and support leaders across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and change.
  • Partner across the People Experience team to align and simplify our people policies, programmes, and processes for a consistent and positive experience.
  • Provide advice and expertise that supports leaders to manage employment matters with fairness, empathy, and confidence.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of initiatives that build engagement, capability, and performance.

To set you up for success, you'll have

  • At least five years' experience in a People Experience, HR Partnering, or generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand employment law and contemporary people practices.
  • Experience facilitating groups, leading people-related projects, and supporting change initiatives.
  • A coaching mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Confidence working with HR systems and data.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, or a related field.
