The Role

As our People & Culture Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for everything HR. From HR compliance to recruitment, onboarding, and employment relations, you’ll keep our people processes running smoothly.

Being part of a small, dynamic team, reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll get broad exposure to strategic HR initiatives, including policy development, engagement projects, and process improvement. You’ll work with managers and teams across the country to make HR simple, consistent, and people-focused, while supporting positive employee relations across the business. This is a unique opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow across all aspects of HR in a fast-growing business. 

You’ll also help bring our culture to life through social media, newsletters, and engagement initiatives — so if you love all things social, this is your chance to shine.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and compliance with NZ employment law.
  • Support managers and employees with employment matters, workplace issues, and performance processes.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction for leadership roles.
  • Promote engagement and culture through newsletters, social media, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to migrant workers on visas and immigration.
  • Support People & Culture projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement across the group..

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years’ HR or People & Culture experience, including employment relations.
  • Relevant qualification in HR
  • Passion for all things HR — you love helping people and making processes work.
  • Tech-savvy and social media-friendly, with a flair for communications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and compliance awareness.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and excited to grow in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to support managers and employees effectively.
  • A good sense of humour and love for food is advantageous.
