We are seeking a dynamic People and Capability Business Partner to join our high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of our organisation and the wellbeing of our people, while contributing to the delivery of exceptional services for our community.

As a trusted advisor, you'll partner with managers and teams of the People and Customer Directorate to deliver the following:
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice and support
- Lead and support change management initiatives that enable transformation and continuous improvement
- Drive workforce planning and capability building
- Lead and support organisational development initiatives
- Champion employee engagement and wellbeing
- Collaborate on projects that enhance culture, leadership, and performance
- Help leaders to navigate complex people challenges and opportunities with confidence and clarity.
- Delivering comprehensive support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle
About you - Ko ngā pūmanawa ōu
You will possess a strong background in Human Resources, with experience providing guidance and support at various organizational levels. Your skills should include coaching, leading
performance discussions, supporting change, and implementing people-related strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a capacity for building trust and rapport.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering role in a medium or large organisation
- Tertiary level qualification in HR or similar
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Change management experience (an advantage)
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
- Coaching, facilitation and investigation skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into action
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
