Roz Urbahn

Roz Urbahn, Chief People Officer, LIC

Roz Urbahn is a distinguished human resources leader, currently serving as Chief People Officer at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) since August 2017. In this role, she leads the People and Performance Group, focusing on cultivating a high-performing and engaged workforce. Her leadership was particularly instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she implemented flexible work practices, leadership development programs, and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to a notable increase in LIC's organisational health index to top quartile performance. 

Prior to her tenure at LIC, Roz held senior HR positions at prominent organisations including Fletcher Building, Vodafone, Foxtel, Frucor Beverages, Hudson Global Resources and Lion. 

Roz's contributions to the HR field have been widely recognised by HRNZ. Her peers commend her for inspiring higher performance, fostering business collaboration, and promoting an inclusive environment through authentic leadership.​
