Is it possible to reduce working hours without sacrificing productivity - or pay? In this engaging and practical session, leading workplace strategist Debbie Bailey unpacks the business case for the 4-day work week and other reduced-hours models, including 9-day fortnights and 4.5-day weeks.
You’ll discover how organisations across New Zealand and globally are using reduced-hour strategies to boost performance, improve employee wellbeing, and tackle burnout, sick leave, and retention challenges head-on. Whether you're an HR professional looking to support your people, a manager juggling operational pressures, or someone trying to build a case for change, this webinar will give you the tools, case studies, and language to start the conversation internally.
Come with your questions - Debbie will leave plenty of time for Q&A and real talk about what works, what doesn't, and how to avoid the common pitfalls.
What we’ll cover:
• What reduced hours working really means (it’s not just Fridays off!)
• The link between wellbeing, productivity, and retention
• How to present the business case to your leadership team
• Real-world examples of success - even in 24/7 environments like police services and public facilities
• Your chance to ask questions and learn how to get started
