Join us for an engaging and informative session introducing the Employment Relations Authority (ERA) and the important work it does in resolving employment disputes in New Zealand.

Dr Andrew Dallas will share practical insights into how HR professionals can approach employment issues in effective, constructive, and legally sound ways, drawing on his deep expertise in employment law and years of decision-making experience.

The session will be informal and interactive, with plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion, and exploring issues that matter most to attendees.

Presenter Details

Dr Andrew Dallas, Employment Relations Authority

Dr Andrew Dallas is the Chief Member of the Employment Relations Authority, bringing over two decades of experience in employment law and dispute resolution. He holds a Doctorate in Laws from Griffith University and a Master of Laws from the University of Auckland. Since joining the Authority in 2015 and becoming Chief in 2019, Dr Dallas has played a key role in shaping fair and effective outcomes in employment matters. His background includes legal practice representing unions and employees, and he is widely respected for his practical insight, academic rigour, and commitment to constructive employment relations. Dr Dallas is based in Christchurch.
