This is an online event brought to you by the Hawkes Bay Branch as part of the Bay2Bay Connect events!
Think Tank Thursday is a monthly event where HR Professionals come together to discuss a particular topic.  This is a ‘safe space to engage with your fellow practitioners and deliberate on the chosen topic; throw around ideas, problem solve, explore solutions and offer insights to the group.

The session will be hosted by Meg Rose from Outloud (www.outloud.co.nz), this will be completely confidential and will operate under a Chatham House Rules policy.  This will be  hosted online and due to the in-depth conversation, will not be recorded.

With a focus on "helping the helpers" this webinar is designed to support HR practitioners balancing the needs of the business and employees. You will gain an understanding of how our human threat response system impacts reactions and decisions, and learn practical techniques to protect your own capacity while working shoulder to shoulder to get the best outcome for others.

The webinar covers tools you can put into action immediately, including:
•  Why the voice in your head thinks it's helping
•  How to accept the past, find peace in the present and not worry about the future
•  Self-managing anxiety, stress and anger
•  Being less reactive and more controlled in your responses
•  Letting things go
•  Having a two-way conscious conversation with your body
•  Being a better listener
•  Enjoying more restful sleep

The hour-long webinar will be delivered via Zoom and includes Q&A. Questions can also be submitted to [email protected]  before the webinar to be addressed anonymously.
