Privacy risks in the workplace are evolving fast. From the rapid adoption of AI to increasingly sophisticated employee monitoring and the ever-present risk of a data breach, HR professionals are finding themselves at the centre of some of the most challenging privacy questions facing New Zealand organisations.
Join us for a practical and engaging session exploring three of the biggest privacy issues for HR today:
AI in HR – What happens when employee or candidate information is entered into AI tools? We’ll explore the privacy risks emerging from the use of AI in recruitment, performance management, investigations and everyday HR activities.
Employee Monitoring – From emails and Teams activity to CCTV, location tracking and productivity tools, technology gives employers more visibility than ever. But where is the line between legitimate business needs and employee privacy.
Privacy Breaches – What happens when sensitive employee information ends up in the wrong hands? We’ll look at common HR privacy breaches and the practical steps organisations should take when things go wrong.
Designed specifically for HR professionals, this session will cut through the theory and focus on practical scenarios, emerging risks and the questions HR teams should be asking now.
