The Employment Relations Amendment Act 2026 has been described as one of the biggest shakeups to New Zealand's employment law landscape in recent times.  It is crucial that employers are aware of the changes, which will impact most businesses.

Join Managing Partner Andrew Shaw and the Lane Neave Employment Team as they unpack each significant change and what your organisation should be doing about it. The agenda will include:
•  How the reform will affect your disciplinary, performance management and without prejudice processes;
•  What the new personal grievance income threshold means for negotiating with and dismissing senior employees;
•  Whether you can make use of the new contractor gateway test;
•  What the reform means for unionised workforces; and
•  Other recent and imminent law changes, including termination by agreement, pay deductions for partial strikes, the new theft by employer crime and recent pay secrecy changes.

Join us for this unmissable event to ensure your organisation is prepared.

Due to the in-person nature of the event, space is limited, so please register as soon as possible to guarantee a place. The event will begin with drinks and nibbles at 4.30 pm, followed by the seminar from 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm.
