Presenter Details
Stephanie Pow
Crayon Founder Stephanie Pow has had a career of firsts. As a plucky student, Stephanie founded Capital W, the first undergraduate business club for women in Australia. She went on to be awarded the University Medal for Finance at UNSW - the only woman to have done so in two decades. By age 25, Stephanie was Australia's #1 hybrids stockbroker at the global investment bank UBS. She completed an MBA from Wharton and an MPA from Harvard as the first finance recipient of the General Sir John Monash Scholarship. After finding love with a Kiwi, Stephanie joined New Zealand success story Vend in strategic and operational leadership roles. While at Vend, Stephanie welcomed her first child. Even with her business experience and academic credentials, Stephanie felt financially unprepared for a baby, and she set about planning her own familys financial future. Based on her experience, Stephanie is building the first home for money and parenthood in New Zealand, helping parents navigate the unique financial puzzles they face so they can be the parents they want to be. The NZ Parental Leave Register features policies from over 220 Kiwi employers, making it the largest database of parental leave information in the country.
