Hennie Peters is an experienced HR executive with over 20 years of leadership in developing and implementing people strategies in complex business environments. As Chief People Officer at Open Country Dairy Ltd, he brings a strong operational focus and a forward-looking approach to HR, aligning people practices with business objectives. In 2024, Hennie introduced AI application training for his HR team, making Open Country Dairy one of the early adopters of AI in the sector. This initiative has improved workforce capability and helped redefine the role of HR across the business. Known for his pragmatic leadership and commitment to capability building, Hennie is focused on developing resilient teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning

Bringing over 20 years of global HR experience across Fortune 500 companies, Sarah specializes in AI-driven talent assessment, leadership development, and digital HR transformation, delivering pragmatic solutions tailored to diverse industries. As a Chartered Member of HRNZ, a Business Coach with Business Mentors New Zealand, a certified SAP HR Application Consultant, and a certified practitioner in Extended DISC, TalentX7, and VERA8, she combines international best practices with deep local insights. Sarah is passionate about building high-performing teams, accelerating leadership excellence, and helping organizations thrive in the digital age through AI-optimized HR solutions.
Panellist: Lindsay Zwart – CEO & Co-Founder, Aivy
Lindsay Zwart is a seasoned executive and board member with global leadership experience spanning startups to Fortune 100 enterprises. She formerly served as Chief Enterprise Officer at Vodafone NZ and previously held senior executive roles at Microsoft U.S., including General Manager of Cloud & Enterprise and COO across AI, Azure, and Dynamics portfolios. As CEO of Aivy, Lindsay now helps boards and senior leaders build AI-ready organizations, guiding them from curiosity to confident adoption. She brings deep expertise in scaling businesses, securing venture funding, and leading market expansion and M&A integration. Passionate about delivering value through innovation, Lindsay connects organisations to global AI expertise and orchestrated technology solutions for sustainable growth.
Moderator: Dr Deepika Jindal: Professional Teaching Fellow, The University of Auckland
Dr. Deepika Jindal is the Subject Group Lead for Management at the University of Auckland Business School, where she teaches HRM and leads the Master of Business Management programme. Primarily an educator, she also maintains research interest in job crafting. Deepika is Branch President of the Academic Branch of Human Resources New Zealand (HRNZ) and serves on the Auckland Branch committee. She is a committee member of Women in Business Chapter of American Chamber of Commerce in NZ. Prior to joining academia, she worked in an Indian manufacturing conglomerate, for over a decade, in their Corporate HR department. Deepika is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
