Attending and managing a performance process as a manager or HR practitioner can be a daunting prospect.  Not to mention it being costly, time-consuming, and relationship-straining - especially if you don't know what to expect and don't have the right processes in place.  To help managers and HR practitioners through the employment law minefield, Philip McCarthy will be presenting a full interactive mock Performance Improvement Process (PIP) session, ably supported by the fine acting skills of your local HRNZ Committee.  This will take you through the performance improvement process, discuss the distinction between disciplinary and performance issues, and offer tips for working through to a successful outcome

The HRNZ Committee presented a disciplinary session followed by a mediation session in 2018, along with a mock disciplinary meeting in 2022 - both events were very well received with plenty of learning.
If you are a manager of staff or an HR practitioner, then come along to gain some top tips and understanding of the process and legal implications.  If only just to see the acting skills of your HRNZ Committee on show!

Come and join the Human Resources NZ (HRNZ) for this great event.   We welcome both members and non-members to join us for this truly informative and interactive session amongst colleagues and peers.
