This HRNZ in-person event is co-sponsored by Massey Business School and is part of their Actionable Insights Series.
Imposter syndrome is often discussed as a personal confidence issue - but in reality, it is deeply shaped by workplace context, organisational culture, and career transitions.
This session explores imposter experiences in the context of modern NZ workplaces, with a particular focus on professionals navigating career change, cultural transitions, and progression into new roles.

Topics include:
⦁  How imposter feelings show up at work (interviews, meetings, promotions)
⦁  The role organisations and leaders play in amplifying or reducing imposter experiences
⦁  How career transitions - including international and cross-cultural moves - can intensify self-doubt
⦁  Practical strategies for individuals, managers, and HR practitioners
The session will combine expert insights, a facilitated panel discussion, and optional small-group conversations focused on practical application.
