Flexible Working: State of Play
Is flexible work a strategic advantage, or still a work in progress? Flexible work continues to evolve, shaped by changing employee expectations, organisational realities, and competing interpretations of what “flexible” really means.
Our first Flexible Work Group session of the year will be a highly interactive discussion focused on building a shared, practical understanding of flexible work as it stands today. Hosted by Gillian Brookes, the session invites members to bring their lived experience into the room, what’s working, what’s being tested, and where trade-offs and tensions are emerging.
Together, we’ll explore how flexible working is being interpreted and applied across organisations, surface areas of alignment and difference, and unpack the real challenges HR leaders are navigating as they move from policy intent to day-to-day practice.
