Figuring it Out: Job Seeking and Career Connections is a practical session designed to help you get started with exploring work opportunities and building the connections that can lead to them.

Penny Kershaw from the Otago Career Development Centre will cover job seeking strategies, networking, and the simple, practical steps that can make a real difference when you’re trying to get your foot in the door.

You’ll also hear from our 2026 HRNZ Student Ambassadors about their internship experiences, including how they found opportunities and built connections while studying.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to make progress, this session will give you clear, practical advice you can use straight away.
