A significant number of employment law changes are on the horizon.
Join us for an in-person seminar to hear from Andrew Shaw (Partner, Lane Neave) and Jack McLuskie (Technical Lead, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment) regarding the proposed:
• Removal of certain personal grievance rights for high income earners;
• New gateway test for assessing whether a worker is a contractor;
• Holidays Act reform;
• Removal of certain remedy entitlements when employees are at fault;
• Changes to pay secrecy laws;
• New laws regarding the obligation to retain employment agreements;
• New Bill that would allow without prejudice negotiations in more circumstances; and
• Health and safety changes for small, low risk businesses.
Join us at Lane Neave's offices, from 5.00 pm for drinks and nibbles, followed by the seminar from 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm.
