Employment Law is moving quickly, and the changes are more than technical updates - they affect how organisations engage contractors, manage personal grievances, structure employment agreements, and prepare for future leave and workplace compliance reforms.
This cafe connect session will provide a practical update on recent employment law developments, including the new contractor "gateway" test, changes affecting high-income employees and personal grievance remedies, and the removal of the 30-day rule for collective agreements. We will also look ahead to what is on the horizon, including proposed reforms to leave entitlements and other emerging workplace law changes.
