As HR professionals, we play a key role in shaping how wellbeing shows up in our organisations. Increasingly, we are seeing the impact of life-stage changes on our workforce — particularly when it comes to sleep disruption, fatigue, mental wellbeing, and energy levels.
This Café Connect session will explore the often-overlooked challenges associated with mid-life and life-stage wellbeing, including the intersections between sleep, mental health, nutrition, and hormonal changes.
Led by Occupational Health Nurse Sarah Betteridge, this session will provide practical insights into:
• How sleep and fatigue impact performance, safety, and engagement
• The connection between life-stage changes, mental wellbeing, and energy levels
• What HR and leaders should be aware of in supporting employees through these challenges
• Simple, practical ways organisations can respond through leadership, work design, and conversations at work
This will be an interactive session, with the opportunity to share experiences, discuss what you are seeing in your own organisations, and learn from others across the region.
