How long has your product/ service been on the market

Rippling has had a physical presence in Australia - our APAC headquarters - for the past two years. Prior to that, we began supporting customers in Australia and across the region remotely since receiving our ATO Digital Service Provider (DSP) certification.

What does your standard product cost?

Rippling takes a modular approach to platform access, so we can tailor a solution based on each client’s specific needs. Billing is structured on a per-person, per-month basis, typically with a minimum one-year commitment. For context, pricing ranges from as little as $35 per month for international contractors and global payroll, through to $599 per month for our full Employer of Record (EOR) services.

Are there annual licensing costs? How are these structured?

Rippling contracts are billed on a per-employee, per-month basis, tailored to the specific HR and payroll services required. Contracts typically run for a minimum of one year, with the option to extend into multi-year agreements at favourable pricing.

Is your product an off the shelf solution, or does it require customisation?

Rippling is an off-the-shelf platform, but it's designed to be highly configurable to match your company’s exact needs - from performance cycles and surveys to your recruitment processes.

You can tailor the platform extensively using custom fields, access roles, and permission settings, as well as set up advanced approval workflows, policy enforcement rules, and custom document logic based on any employee attribute.

Rippling also includes powerful custom reporting tools that let you join data across any part of the system - without incurring additional fees - giving you full visibility and control over your workforce data.

How long does your product take to implement? How does customisation impact this?

The typical implementation and transition timeline for Rippling ranges from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on your company’s size and the scope of services being rolled out.

One of Rippling’s key strengths is our high level of customisation. While we provide a framework of best practices to help streamline setup and ensure efficiency, the platform is fully adaptable to your specific needs.

You can easily configure user roles, org structures, documents, custom fields, workflows, reports, and more - without needing to start from scratch. This flexibility allows you to build a system that truly reflects how your organisation operates, both now and as it evolves

What is your post-implementation support? Are there costs to this or is the up-front cost inclusive of additional support?

Rippling provides comprehensive support well beyond implementation. During the onboarding process, each client is introduced to their dedicated ongoing service team, which typically includes both an Account Manager (AM) and, for larger clients, a Technical Account Manager (TAM).

 • Your Account Manager acts as your primary point of contact for day-to-day needs, covering billing, adding new packages, onboarding new administrators, and managing renewal conversations. They also conduct semi-annual account reviews to ensure your setup continues to meet your evolving needs.

• For larger or more complex accounts, your Technical Account Manager provides deeper operational support. They’ll gain a detailed understanding of your workflows, consult on best practices, and are available for fortnightly strategy calls and direct phone support for more complex issues.

Support is included in the platform cost, with no hidden fees. We believe in transparency when it comes to service quality which is why we publicly share real-time support metrics on our website.
