New Partnership Between the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and the Institute of Directors

The Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Directors (IoD).

The MoU signals the beginning of a closer relationship between the organisations, and recognises the mutual benefits of collaboration between two of the leading membership associations in New Zealand.

IoD Chief Executive Officer, Dr William Whittaker says, “HRINZ is the leading member organisation for HR professionals, and we’re pleased to be partnering with them to raise awareness of the importance of good governance.”

The first planned initiative to come from the partnership is a model that allows HRINZ members access to the IoD Essentials courses and members of the IoD access to courses and webinars from the HRINZ Professional Development Programme.

HRINZ Chief Executive, Chris Till says, “HRINZ is proud to be working alongside the IOD and I am delighted to be able to offer our members yet another membership benefit with access to the Essentials training. In return we aim to promote an even greater understanding of good people practices among Directors and senior leaders. We look forward to a sustained and productive partnership with the IOD as we continue to explore further opportunities for working together.”
