As Specialist – Leadership & Talent Development, you’ll lead and contribute to the design, development and delivery of organisational leadership and management capability initiatives in a kaupapa Māori environment. You’ll be part of team who design and deliver critical programmes through our unique framework- Te Kaupapa Matua, that empower our managers with the management and leadership skills they need to achieve great outcomes through their people. We’ve already identified some key areas of focus, but you’ll get the chance to do your own assessment and make recommendations on what else needs attention.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your ability and desire to support our kaimahi to embed our own unique framework-Te Kaupapa Matua in to their practice is essential.

You’re a proven programme designer who understands how learning and development is best delivered, you’ll have a strong leadership philosophy and experience growing the cultural capability of others. The magic is in your ability to navigate human dynamics. You understand human nature, motivators, barriers, and emotions, and you know how to connect with others in an authentic way with the end goal of delivering experiences that create light bulb moments.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
