About the role:
We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity to join our supportive and collaborative People Team as a Learning and People Insights Coordinator.
In this role you will provide vital coordination, administrative, and systems support to the Learning and Organisational Development team, supporting high quality training, as well as updating and maintaining our current learning management system.
You will also support business improvements and efficiencies by maintaining the HR data, reporting on people insights and data preparation for HRIS.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in Learning and Organisational Development.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting delivery of the organisation's learning strategy through effective learning coordination and administration
- Managing and maintaining training data and learning systems
- Sourcing, booking and coordinating internal and external training providers, venues and logistics
- Supporting development of an employee-centred learning culture
- Supporting the annual employee experience survey and any pulse surveys
- Supporting measuring and reporting on people insights, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and clearly presented
- Helping maintain people data and people-based systems to ensure data integrity and enable high-quality insights
- Supporting HRIS implementation and optimisation activities
- Collaborating with all People Team colleagues to achieve consistent, employee-centred experiences and reliable service delivery
About you:
We are looking for someone who has an interest in learning and development, eager to learn, willingness to go the extra mile and a great can-do attitude. You will have excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. You will bring with you strong coordination, administration and organisation skills and great attention to detail. This role requires confidence in using excel, technology and reporting.
- Experience in a coordination/administration role, ideally within a People/HR, learning, or corporate services environment
- Strong organisation, administration and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise workload and create simple workplans/timelines
- Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal), including attention to detail and use of plain language; able to tailor communication to different audiences
- High level of digital literacy and confidence using technology to achieve effective outcomes (e.g., MS 365, video conferencing, spreadsheets, systems)
- Experience maintaining accurate records/data and producing basic reporting (e.g., participation/completion, turnover, sick leave) with a focus on data quality
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times when handling people information
